The chapel of Saint Panagiotis of Caesarea is one of the many ecclesiastical monuments that make up the spiritual heritage of the area.
The chapel of Saint Panagiotis is situated close to the Moutoulla-Pedoulas road and was built on a site that until recently served as a community stadium. It is a single-aisled basilica with a gabled wooden and tiled roof, covered with flat and hooked tiles. The exterior masonry of the church features a distinctive small western pediment, which bears a cross, providing an impressive sight to visitors.
The church is separated by a wooden carved chancel screen, and the chapel remains always open for worshipers. The simplicity and harmony of the chapel combine with its spiritual significance, offering visitors a sense of peace and reverence.
The memory of Saint Panagiotis is honored every year at his chapel on June 24th.
