The Byzantine chapel of Saint Paraskevi is an important religious monument in the area. Originally, the church was a single-aisled structure. Later alterations made to the church have rendered it unique, with a distinct style that blends tradition with changes over time.
It is located in a picturesque valley with orchards, at the site of Pumi in the old village of Pedoulas. This church, likely from the 16th century, follows the style of a two-aisled wooden-roofed church and captures the interest of visitors.
From the chapel of Saint Paraskevi, valuable icons of Christ, the Virgin Mary, and Saint Paraskevi from the 18th century have been preserved, and they are kept in the Byzantine Museum of the village. Additionally, the wooden icon stand of the icon of Saint Paraskevi, dating back to 1734, is also kept there.
Every year, on July 26th, the chapel celebrates the feast of Saint Paraskevi, attracting a large number of faithful and visitors from all over Cyprus.
